We all know that Huawei has released many Android devices, including smart phones and tablets. And according to the latest information, Huawei has become the world’s third largest smart phones’ manufacturers; however Huawei is not satisfied with its current achievement. It is said that Huawei is planning to release an Android TV Box (also named Mini PC), which is named Huawei MediaQ M310. Like some of the Huawei Android smart phones, this Android TV Box is also adopted a quad-core processor based on ARM frame. And the processor has been improved specially for the TV Box.
MediaQ M310 will be used Hisilicon K3V2 quad-core processor based on ARM Cortex-A9 frame, and will be matched up with a 1GB RAM and 4GB ROM. In addition, it can support Micro SD card extension. Moreover, it will be provided with the Vivante GC4000 graphics card and can support 1080P video input and output via HDMI. And there will be two USB interfaces, SPDIF frequency and a 3.5mm audio interface. As to the wireless connection, it will support 802.11g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0.
This device will run Android system, but it has customized user interface for the TV function, so it will be very easy to operate. And MediaQ M310 can run most of the Android applications, not only the Google TV special application.
Huawei will release the M310 in the following several months, and the price may be at $80 or less. And there will be another high-end version, named MediaQ M810, which will own a 2GB RAM and 8GB ROM. And it will support Ethernet.
